Friend & Leader Award Dinner

6 - 9 p.m.

The Annual Friend & Leader Award Dinner salutes individuals whose work contributes to progress in awareness, health promotion, prevention, and effective treatment for children and adults affected by mental health challenges throughout Massachusetts.

2022 is an important time to reaffirm our commitment to promote mental health and end disparities in access to care - particularly for children, adolescents, and young adults. Massachusetts Association for Mental Health (MAMH) looks forward to welcoming you this year to celebrate leadership in Massachusetts from individuals, communities, providers, and policy leaders who advance youth mental health and well being.

Join us at the Seaport Hotel
Please join us for MAMH's 109th Annual Friend and Leader Award Dinner to be held on Monday, September 19 at 6 p.m. at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.

In this important year for youth mental health and well being, please consider becoming a sponsor or purchasing a ticket to support our critical work. If you're unable to attend, you can always donate to MAMH.

Attend virtually
We understand that some individuals may prefer to attend virtually. Our event will be fully hybrid this year, providing virtual attendees the opportunity to view our award program in real time.

A suggested donation of $150 is encouraged for each virtual "ticket." Please pledge what you can and join us from the comfort of your home or office this fall.

MAMH continues to be a leader in what is now part of daily conversations across the Commonwealth - mental health. We are leading education, advocacy, and research, engaging stakeholders and decisionmakers to achieve consensus, and demonstrating innovative tools and practices that improve navigation and access to care. With your support, we can better support people living with mental health conditions and their families and caregivers.

Help spread the word
The advocacy and education efforts of MAMH are unparalleled. To better inform and engage Massachusetts citizens, MAMH successfully advocated for state funding for key priorities, including housing for people with behavioral health conditions who are chronically homeless, launched the Older Adult Behavioral Health Network (OABHN), continued our annual student expressions art contest, and initiated a new pilot grant program to implement pediatric behavioral health urgent care.
